1.a.All vehicles must have a current license plate in place and have current registration for serial number of vehicles.
b. All Pennsylvania licensed trucks must have current inspection per licensing requirements.
c. All items must be OEM stock unless otherwise stated in these rules.
d. No riders are permitted in truck during pull attempt. Driver may not leave the driver's seat while vehicle is on the pulling track. Driver will take all direction from the flagman on the track.
2.a. No street stock vehicle can exceed 7000 pounds including the driver. Vehicle can only pull in one class
b. No weight brackets or hanging weights allowed on front of vehicles.
c. Weights must be in cargo area only and be securely fastened or contained safely therein.
d. No weights allowed in cab or under hood.
e. Any loss of weight or external parts while under the green flag will be cause for disqualification of the pull (excludes internal breakage).
f. Factory bumpers or no bumper.
g. No weighted front-end accessories of any possible kind.
h. Any object that can be considered added ballast must also be in the cargo area.
i. No hidden ballast of any kind in any location.
j. Factory O.E.M Brush guard, Snowplow brackets are permitted. (NO HOMEMADE)
3.a. Hitch must extend beyond rear of truck and be easily accessible for person hooking to sled.
b. Puller must provide his/her own hitching device or clevis with a minimum 3.5 - inch opening.
c. No pintle type hitches, unless equipped with proper size hooking ring, no chain hitches, ball hitches or any device pulling from rear end housing.
d. Hitch must be rigid in all directions.
e. Maximum hitch height is 26 inches from the ground to the top of hooking point. Any vertical clevis will be measured to the center of loop. Truck must pull from Reese style or bumper hitch in factory location
4.a. Any street legal D.O.T. approved tire and Wheels can be used with a maximum of 10 inches tread width measured at tread shoulder by 35 inches high or 12.50 x 35 as stamped.
b. No studded, cuts or modifications to the tires allowed.
c. Factory dual wheels are permitted.
5.a. Engine must be factory produced for 4 x 4 trucks. Stock stroke with max .030” over factory bore size.
b. OEM factory aluminum intake allowed.
c. Gasoline fuel only.
d. Electric fuel pumps allowed.
e. All exhaust must exit through a muffler and exit body.
f. (1) 4-barrel 750 cfm max size. Vacuum secondaries only, no double pumpers.
g. 1 modification allowed such as:
- dual plain aluminum intake
- in frame headers
- programmer
6.a. Body of truck must be complete with windshield and all other glass in place.
b. If open top, must have roll bar and windshield.
c. Vehicle must have a bed in place.
d. Wooden flat beds are permitted, but rear wheels must be covered by bed or fenders.
7.a. Stock suspension must be in place.
b. No solid suspension or traction bars.
c. No rear suspension blocks.
d. No suspension modifications of any kind.
8. Brakes must be in place and in working order.
9. A Minimum of three pullers is needed to make a class.
10. a. This class is designed for stock vehicles that are regularly driven on the street.
b. All trucks will be inspected prior to class.
c. Any truck in question of being legal will be inspected by the rules committee personnel and decided on by the board of directors.
d. WPTTP Inc. reserve the right to pump any truck in question.
e. If any vehicle is found to be illegal, the driver and vehicle will be suspended for 1 year and a day from all W.P.T.T.P. Inc. events, with loss of points and prize money from this event unless legality can be proven within three hours.

1. Licensing
a. All vehicles must have a current license plate in place.
b. Proof must be shown of ownership and insurance.
2. Weight – 6500 lbs.
a. Weights are permitted within but not below frame rails and anywhere in the confines of the body with the exception of the cab. No weight inside cab. Weight must not be visible.
b. No weight bars or hanging weights on front end. Weight bracket receivers will be permitted.
c. Factory front bumper only or no bumper. Bumper must remain in factory position.
d. No snowplow brackets or snowplow receiver brackets.
e. Stock trucks competing in this class will be exempt from having snowplow brackets, brush guards, or any accessories up front at the discretion of the tech inspectors.
3. Hitch
a. Adjustable hitch, no less than 27% of wheelbase, stationary in all directions.
b. Puller must supply his or her own clevis and pin and be ready to pull. 3 ½” I.D. minimum diameter on all hitches.
c. 26” Maximum hitch height.
4. Tires
a. 35" x 12.50" maximum as stamped (or metric equivalent of 315/75). All tires must be DOT approved and carry a factory stamped DOT number on sidewall.
b. No modifications to tires.
c. No dual wheels, no split rims, studded tires, or chains.
5. Engine
a. Must be an OEM factory production vehicle engine that is/was available in mass production vehicles only. Engine must be same make as pick-up truck. No aftermarket performance application blocks or engines.
b. 505 cubic inch maximum.
c. Engine must remain in stock location or no farther forward than 12” from the rear of engine block to centerline of front axle.
d. One (1) single four-barrel carburetor—dominator type (4500 series) carburetors allowed.
e. One (1) inch maximum spacer plate under carburetor only; One-piece cast aluminum intake, porting only allowed internal.
f. Heads – any OEM cast iron with stock valve placement and factory located intake and exhaust ports on heads only. {example no ford heads with chevy exhust ports}
g Wet sump oiling of OEM design.
h. Exhaust - Must be in place. Headers permitted. All exhaust must exit through a muffler and exit the body must be down swept.
i. Fuel – Gasoline only. No alcohol, nitro, nitrous oxide or other oxygen accelerators.
6. Truck
a. Vehicle must have a bed in place with a floor. Wooden flatbeds are permitted, but must have sides and fenders to cover rear wheels.
b. Truck cab and bed must match wheelbase of chassis. Extended wheelbase chassis (>134") with regular cabs will be permitted.
c. Glass - All windows must be in place. Windshield and driver’s side may not be smoked glass.
d. Transmission, transfer case, front & rear differentials must be OEM and available in one ton (or smaller) pickup truck.
e. All Steering must run through OEM STEERING BOX.
7. Suspension
a. Stock style suspension must be in place. Stock style refers to the type of suspension that came from the manufacturer in the year/make/model/vintage of the vehicle being pulled.
b. No blocked, welded, or any other non-stock style suspension modifications.
d. Rear suspension blocks are permitted. Rear blocks must be securely fastened with a minimum of one (1) inch clearance in all directions. Rear blocks are to have a maximum of three (3) inch contact area. One (1) rear block per side. No spools or welded front differentials. Truck must be able to be driven on and off the track without unlocking the hubs.
e. Spring clamping is permitted. Four (4) clamps per differential in addition to factory installed spring clamps. Maximum spring clamp width of 4 inches.
f. Two shocks per wheel are permitted. No solid shocks will be permitted.
g. Suspension lifts are allowed.
h. Brakes - Must be in place and working order.
i. Traction bars and other traction devices are permitted except electronic traction control unless vehicle comes factory with it.
8. Safety
a. If engine is not stock, blow-proof bell housing on trucks with standard shift transmission or blow proof blanket on automatic transmissions are required.
b. No cast iron flywheels allowed.
c. Drive shaft loops required (2 on rear and 1 on front) and shielding recommended.
d. U-Joint shielding on rear u-joint is required or ANY visible u-joint from side of vehicle.
e. Fire extinguisher in cab is required
f. Seat belts are required.
g. Helmet is required.
h. Kill switches are mandatory for POINTS VEHICLES.
i. All competitors may be required at registration to sign a transmission and clutch waiver stating the competition vehicle meets all safety requirements.
j. All vehicles must have a physical barrier between passenger compartment and cargo compartment.
k Fire jackets are required.
9. Other
a. WPTTP Inc. Performance Street Trucks are eligible to pull with the WPTTP Inc. Pro Stock Gas 4x4.
b. All safety rules must be followed.
c. Any driver arguing with a track official is subject to immediate disqualification.
d. All decisions of the track official will be final at each pull. Any protests will be settled at the next club meeting.
e. If more than twenty-five (25) trucks are registered in a class, the Competition Director has the right to waive the 75’ rule. Pullers will be notified before the class starts.
f. WPTTP Inc. reserves the right to pump any truck in question.
g. All rules to be interpreted by officials. Any unforeseen problems or oversights will be ruled on by officials on sight. All general and safety rules apply. All rulings will be final. Officials reserve the right to allow or disallow a truck to compete on the basis of any safety concern or infraction.
h. Rules will be locked in for (2) years (2023-2024) unless class or board see a significant issue that needs addressed due to parody in the class and/or participation.
1) The body must be an OEM truck body, the complete OEM floor pan, and complete OEM firewall is mandatory. Beds must be covered. No flatbeds permitted. The body must retain full metal, aftermarket steel hoods are permitted. They must be closed and securely latched while hooked to the sled.
2) The OEM chassis is mandatory. The vehicle must retain a full 3/4 or 1-ton size chassis. Wheel tubs, back-half conversions, tube chassis prohibited. Rigid suspension allowed. Hydraulic steering permitted. (Intent-no Isuzu or compact diesel chassis)
3) Drawbar assembly must be frame mounted. Pivot pin of the drawbar can be no further forward than the centerline of the rear axle. Minimum of one (1) inch of material around the pivot pin location (circumference) of the hitch assembly. Hitch assembly requires 1/2” total thickness minimum (width) where the drawbar pivot pin intersects (connects). Minimum 1/4” wall thickness tubing material required for drawbar assembly.
a) Maximum drawbar height of 24”.
b) Hook point must be no closer than 44” of center line of rear axle, drawbar must not exceed a maximum of 25° angle from pivot point to hook point.
c) Drawbar height adjustment link, if attached to the rear-end housing, the attaching point must be at or below the centerline of the axle. Drawbar adjusters cannot attach to anything above the centerline of the rear axle.
d) Drawbar adjusters can only go straight downward vertically or towards rear differential housing. No adjusters permitted above the hook point.
e) No slotting of holes for adjuster attachment.
4) Drive train will consist of the following;
a) OEM differential required. Must have come factory in a one ton or smaller vehicle.
b) OEM transmission and transfer cases must be used. Must have come factory in a one ton or smaller vehicle.
c) Non-OEM transmissions prohibited. Aftermarket torque convertors, valve bodies, and internal components are permitted.
d) All clutches, bellhousings, and clutch/transmission blankets must meet SFI specs.
e) Driveshaft shielding, u-joint shields, and axle shields all required.
f) No traction control permitted.
5) Engine must remain in stock location as intended by the manufacturer. Engines may be interchanged between manufacturers.
a) Front of the engine block can be no further forward than 17” of the centerline of the front axle.
b) Maximum engine size will be 460 cubic inch. Engines must come from the factory in one ton or smaller diesel pickup trucks.
c) No aftermarket blocks permitted; no deck plates permitted.
d) Head must be an OEM or OEM one piece cast replica for that brand engine. No billet heads of any material. Outside dimensions of the cylinder head must measure factory width and length. Head must retain OEM valve angle.
e) Side draft and aftermarket intake manifolds are allowed.
f) Engine must have cables surrounding the block and head.
g) All engines will have a deflection shield, running the complete length of the block casting. Shield must be securely fastened and must be .060” thick. (This equates to a steel inner fender)
h) Air to air intercooler only. No ice or water permitted on the truck during competition.
i) Water injection is prohibited. All components must be removed from the truck.
6) Fuel Systems: Maximum of one P7100 pump (2-5/8”W x 9-9/16”L x 8-3/16”H main pump body), limited to one plunger per cylinder. The use of multiple high pressure common rail fuel pumps is allowed. Ford Powerstroke engine may utilize a second HPOP. Electronic Fuel Injection is permitted. A 3-way dump valve mounted before the injection pump is mandatory which can be operated by the driver while strapped in the seat.
a) No fuel lines or tanks permitted inside of a truck cab unless securely mounted in a marine box.
b) Fuel limited to diesel fuel. No alcohol, nitrous, propane or any oxygen enhancing agents allowed.
7) The upper mounting point for strut assembly must be in factory location. Adjustable caster/camber pillow ball mounts are permitted. The lower control arm may be strengthened provided the factory mounting points are maintained. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, and limit straps are permitted. Traction bars and devices are permitted. Raising or lowering of vehicle height with suspension modifications is permitted but must be bolt-on only. Welds permitted for attachment to frame and axle only.
a) Blocked suspension permitted.
b) No airbags. Rear suspension may be made solid.
c) Hydraulic steering permitted
8) Tires must be DOT approved with a maximum size of 35x12.50.
a) No studded tires or tire chains.
b) No alterations to tires permitted.
c) No bar or terra tires.
d) Dual wheels are prohibited.
9) Air shut off (kill switch) required.
10) Turbocharger is limited to a 2.6” inducer bore, bore must be smooth-faced (no MAP/MWE ring/groove) with all air entering through the 2.6” opening. Bore will be checked with a 2.605” plug, plug must not be able to enter the inducer bore and contact the compressor wheel.
11) Compressor wheel must protrude 1/8 inch inside of the opening.
12) Exhaust must exit straight up, with (2) 3/8” bolts mounted in a cross pattern no more than 1” apart as close to the turbine wheel as possible, no more than 12” away from the turbine wheel.
13) Maximum weight 8,000lbs.
a) Front weights must be no more than 60” from the centerline of the front axle to forward most points and be securely fastened.
b) No weights are allowed in the cab of the truck.
c) If weights are located in the bed of the truck they are to be securely fastened to the bed of the truck.
14) Maximum wheelbase 158 inches. Lengthening of the frame allowed up to 158”. Longer trucks (158”-172”) must maintain OEM measurements for the body being used.
1) Additional weight is permitted, no weights allowed inside the cab. Front weights and brackets may not extend further than 60 inches from the center of the front axle.
2) Batteries must be securely mounted, may be in the stock location, in the bed, or mounted on the front weight rack/box. If mounted in the bed or on the front, a manual battery disconnect (easily accessible and clearly marked) is required. If batteries are mounted inside the cab, they must be covered with steel or aluminum with a driver accessible battery shutoff and be clearly marked.
3) Vehicles must have closed doors, unless equipped from the factory with fabric top. Half cabs must have closed doors.
a) Vehicles must have stock appearing grill, hood, front fenders, bedsides, and hood (can be cut but must shield all rotating parts)
b) Must retain all exterior body panels fiberglass is permitted. Tailgate not required
c) Fenders may be cut for tire clearance only; the axle must be positioned within 6” of center of wheel well.
d) Must have windshield and driver's window. (Driver’s window must be up while pulling).
e) Floor and firewall area must be covered and no holes larger than 1 inch.
f) Tube frames are allowed but must be inspected by current tech officials before permitted to pull. 2” x.120 wall thickness minimum.
4) Maximum hitch height of 24 inches. Hitch plate is to be a minimum of 1/2 inch thick at any point.
5) Minimum hitch length is 27% of truck overall wheelbase no shorter than 24”. Measurement taken from center of axle tube to hook point. Hitch pivot or attachment point cannot be any further forward than the center of the rear axle
6) Any OEM transmission and transfer case can be used, no aftermarket gear boxes or t-cases.
a) All manual transmissions must be clutch assisted. Sequential shifters are prohibited.
b) A clutch meeting minimum SFI spec 1.1 or 1.2 is mandatory on all vehicles.
c) All vehicles equipped with a manual transmission must have a flywheel shield. Applications for which a flywheel shield is not available may use a properly attached blanket that completely covers the bell housing.
d) All vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission must use a properly attached blanket.
e) Axle shields are required.
f) Front hydraulic brakes or a driveline brake is required.
7) Any engine brand may be used with any brand of body/frame
a) Rear of the engine block can be no further forward than the center of the front axle, and the engine must be behind the factory grill location.
b) Small block engines only, maximum of 360 cubic inches. (No LS or HEMI type blocks permitted)
c) Provisions must be made to put on a “seal” on the engine after the truck has been cube checked.
d) Competitors must be able to have their engine pumped at any time during the pull season. A 1% variance will be permitted.
e) Officials may (at their discretion) use a pump or other means to check cubic inches. Competitors must have all tools/equipment to comply with cubic inch checks at all pulls.
f) Any heads are allowed but must be OEM valve angle. (No LS or Hemi style heads permitted)
g) A single four-barrel, mass produced, 4150 flange style carburetor is permitted. A dual, two-barrel carburetor setup is permitted. (NO PREDATORS, DOMINATORS, OR EXOTIC CARBS ALLOWED) No fuel injection of any kind is permitted.
h) Aluminum cast intake is allowed - NO tunnel rams, NO sheet metal intakes
i) No forced induction of any kind, naturally aspirated only. (No turbos, superchargers, or prochargers)
j) All exhaust systems must discharge vertically or downward. (Vertically is defined as being within 10 degrees any direction of being plumb or downward style must discharge straight back.) No rain caps permitted.
8) All trucks must be equipped with a kill switch.
9) Gasoline or racing fuel is permitted, no alcohol permitted. Nitrous oxide and all other oxygen extenders are PROHIBITTED. System components must be removed from the vehicle. Fuel tanks may be in the stock location, in the bed, or mounted on the front weight rack/box. No fuel tanks or fuel lines permitted inside the cab. If non-OEM, a manual fuel shutoff (ball valve, easily accessible, clearly marked) is required on the fuel cell.
10) D.O.T 33/14.5 or metric equivalent.
a) 29/11 dirt track tires are permitted.
b) No recaps or bar tires permitted, sipping and sanding of tires is permitted for the purpose of resurfacing only. Cleaning up existing tire grooves allowed.
c) Rear tires can be offset inward to center of front tires, no duals. Tire tracks must half lap.
d) Use of dirt deflectors is prohibited.
11) Maximum weight of 4,500 lbs.
12) Maximum wheelbase of 135 inches. Must have been a factory 4x4. Maximum width of 102” permitted.
1. Maximum weight of competition vehicle is 6200#.
2. Maximum cubic is 410 and engine type must match body manufacturer. If primary 410 cubic inch motor is replaced due to failure, secondary motor allowed up to 2% overage of 410 cubic inch.
3. Any automotive type engine must be limited to a single (4) barrel or 2 (2) barrels of carburetion with mechanical linkage, with only two valves per cylinder and must accept a stock automotive crankshaft. Aluminum aftermarket engine blocks permitted.
4. Fuel injection or any air compressing devices are not permitted.
5. Rear of engine block if moved must be a minimum of twelve (12) inches behind the centerline of the front axle.
6. OEM bore spacing must be retained in engine.
7. Grill must be in original position.
8. Truck bodies permitted and must have complete firewall, no fiberglass or plastic bodies unless OEM. OEM frame rails same as manufacturer as truck only permitted. Fiberglass repair panels are permitted.
9. Axle shields are required. Shield to be .060” thickness steel or aluminum. Shield not to be mounted to axle ends or hub bolts. A single hole may be cut in one to allow locking of hubs.
10. Maximum wheelbase is 134 inches on all Super Stock 4X4 trucks.
11. Maximum tire size to be 112 inches in circumference once tire is inflated to 30psi. The outside edge of the narrow axle must overlap the centerline of the tire on the wide axle by at least one inch.
12. Clear plexi-glass or factory tint glass permitted.
13. No mud flaps or dirt deflectors will be permitted.
14. No fuel tanks, fuel lines, pressure gauges or pups allowed in cabs. All hydraulic lines in cab must be shielded top and sides with a minimum of .060 aluminum.
15. All air or hydraulic suspension systems cannot have hydraulic, air, or electric lines attached to these devices during competition.
16. Hitch height maximum is to be 26” at point of hook before, during, and after pull. Hitch must be rigid in all directions and solidly mounted. Pulling point can be no more than 1 ½ inches from back edge of drawbar. No clevis, chains, or cables permitted in hitching device. From point of hook to centerline of rear axle shall be no less than 27% of truck wheelbase.
17. Electronic timing delay devices or programmable ignition boxes prohibited.
18. Read only engine and chassis monitoring functions will be permitted.
19.SFI Approved gloves, fire suit and shoes must be worn when pulling. Helmets must be Snell 90 or above.
